I don’t know if you listen to music when you’re writing code, but what kind of music do you listen to? I don’t have much experience in this area, but today I happened to see a website that recommends Music for Programming that you should listen to while writing code.
Here is a screenshot of the site. The web design really feels like a programmer. Review images
According to the site, it collects and organizes a range of different styles of music to help programmers focus and increase productivity while writing code. It also worked when listening to the music while doing other tasks.
Currently, the site offers 36 music albums to choose from, and each album often lasts about an hour. When an album is selected, the right side of the page turns into a list of tracks from that album, with the ability to play, pause, fast-forward 30 seconds and rewind 30 seconds. See the figure below.

The site claims that the music is chosen to engage the right parts of your brain that, if left unattended, can cause you to wander off at work.
