Today’s goal: over 50,000! Part of content:

In a September 2018 McKinsey survey of 1,733 corporate executives, only 14 percent said their digital transformation efforts had resulted in sustained performance improvements, and only 3 percent reported overall success in sustained change. Is it outrageously low?

“The rates are frustratingly low,” said Laura Laberge, a senior knowledge specialist at McKinsey. They feel like they’ve been doing this for four years, investing millions of dollars in technology and human capital, only to find that nothing has changed.”

There is a golden triangle in project management, which is scope (requirement), time (completion speed), cost (completion cost), and the core of the middle is completion quality. All three factors have to be taken into account, and losing control of any of them can be dangerous or even judged a failure.

When I was studying project management, the teacher told us that there was a survey in the United States, and only 26% of the projects perfectly achieved the original goals, and the time, cost and quality did not exceed the requirements set at that time. You see, this success rate is not much higher than what McKinsey just reported.

Many people face the means of insufficient resources is very simple and crude, or crazy to add people, or crazy overtime. There was a very funny joke before that the best survival strategy in a big factory, the first is to do everything possible to make the team big, it doesn’t matter what you do.
