In the series of “Joy Says writing”, the first few articles are actually talking about one thing, namely the purpose and function of writing in a general sense.
Xi Jie said writing (1) to whom? Juejin. Cn/post / 695620…
Writing (2) Output drives efficient input juejin.cn/post/695622…
(3) Form your own body of knowledge juejin.cn/post/695638…
Sister Xi said that writing (4) is a hobby is an internal need juejin.cn/post/695652…
Why are we talking about this first? Because many of us, especially those in science and engineering, may have more or less such a mistake, we mistakenly believe that we have never had the internal need to write, we do not think that writing will bring anything to help them. Instead, we feel that writing is a chore, a chore, a dispensable task. If you have such an idea, even if you force yourself to write, it is difficult to stick to it, more difficult to succeed.
We often say, “Stay true to why you started”. But what is a beginner’s mind?
Is “beginner’s mind” an innate “mind” that falls from the sky? I think it was a mistake. In fact,
A beginner’s mind is the goal you set before you take action.
Only by knowing what you want to achieve can you motivate yourself to achieve it as you go along. A clear goal is itself a powerful and effective incentive.
Stay true to your original aspiration and start with the end. So we have to think clearly about our goals before we can work hard to achieve our initial goals.
“Xi Jie Says writing” hopes to let more technical friends in Nuggets find their own writing direction and grow faster in the process of creation. This is my original intention to write here.
I also hope that at the beginning of your writing, you will be firm in your original intention of writing. This will not be in the day after day of chaos and tedious, gradually forget, tired, lost.
(Ma Hengchun, the author of “In-depth Training in The Workplace,” told me that testing the writing ability of new employees is a good way to select talent.)
