Up to now, MY official account has exported 105 original articles.
If you follow the timeline to read my historical articles, you can also feel that as time goes by, the layout and illustration of articles become more and more comfortable, and the style gradually takes shape.
The language is humorous and uses “dirty examples” to illustrate core technical points in an effort to make them easy to understand and fun.
For those of you who have read each one, I believe you have grown.
In the future, I will continue to share technology in the form of series (like Redis series), making jokes and writing love letters.

Writing skills
Writing is the output of thinking about the input: the input is the premise, the thought is the essence, the output is the result.
Before we get down to writing, here are a few things we can do to get the most out of writing:

Topic selection: technology sharing, business practice, team management or in-depth technical theory;

Outline: Collect materials and subdivide knowledge points into headings of each paragraph. I like to use mind maps to make a clear list of sub-headings and ideas, and then extract a sentence for each paragraph of each heading to form a skeleton through the sentence. Keep writing around this golden phrase and ask yourself as you write what it is and what value it has.

What to Write: Many people find it difficult to write, so ask yourself these questions for every paragraph you write
- What is?
- Why is that?
- How to do?
- What happens when you do that?
In the process of writing to distinguish between primary and secondary, must be around the current paragraph out of the gold sentence spread.
Here’s a counter example:
Originally intended to write the principle of Redis Cluster, because it will involve the gossip protocol suddenly jumped to this content and in-depth analysis, resulting in the departure from the main body.
As we write our content, we can develop ideas around the following formulas:
- Describe a scene, lead to a pain point topic;
- In view of the pain point, put forward a new point of view and technical scheme;
- Demonstrate the point with positive examples or code: subtitle + case;
- Demonstrate knowledge points through negative examples;
- Summarize the use scenario and value of this knowledge point;
- Put forward thoughts and suggestions, and call on people to do so.
Cut the crap and just write
Are you scared after reading the above writing routine? We just need to deliberately follow the routine every time we write, and don’t worry about not writing yet.
Don’t feel like you can’t write because you don’t have enough experience, content, or qualifications. Instead, accept the fact that your writing is bad for a while. People don’t have time to laugh at you.
Start by writing a good paragraph, insist on using the right way, we will write well.
Don’t wait until you’re ready to start writing, you’re halfway there.
It is because of poor writing that it is important to start writing and practicing.
And then some people think, well, I don’t write well, what will it look like?
How? You know, you’re not that important. People are too busy to laugh at you.
Learning is a gradual process, the first step is not to write a long beginning, but to write a paragraph, deliberately practice.
Lower your goals and expectations. No one can write well at first.
Don’t be a perfectionist. Don’t be afraid of being told what you write is bad. Good writing is out of practice, good articles are also changed out.
Writing is a systematic engineering, which includes setting the theme, preparing the title, building the frame, looking up information, writing the first draft, typesetting, proofreading, polishing and many other steps. Different people have different writing habits, so you should establish a process suitable for your own.
Choose the right thing and stick to it.
Find and correct language problems
If you think you know a lot about grammatical structures (the components and definitions of subject-verb-object definite complement), skip this paragraph and move on to the next.
Let’s look at the following sentences.
The desire to discuss and share was so strong that the whole salon was even delayed for more than an hour, fully feeling the enthusiasm of the on-site developers for the Go language.
The subject of the last half of the sentence is “everyone” or “lecturer”.
In Chinese sentences, subject, predicate, object, attribute, adverbial and complement are the basic constituent units. Subject, predicate and object we are quite clear, we focus on determination, form and complement.

The function of modifying sentences — simply put, when you see the word “d”, you are likely to have attributive words;
adverbial
Appear before a verb to indicate the degree, time, place, state, etc of the predicate. Used to modify predicates
complement
Hit (beautifully), throw (past), fill (complete), etc.

Build up your language sense
Speaking of so many theories, we may not be able to avoid language problems, to avoid the more important thing is to gradually develop your own language sense.
What we need to do is to write more, practice more, and read more.
When you have written 30 articles and look back at them, they will be qualitatively different.
After you have written a sentence, try to break it up. This will make your sense of language stronger and stronger.
The content layout
Once the content is written, many people feel that typography is also a big problem. Always feel that their arrangement is not beautiful, with the picture is not good-looking.
Eileen Chang famously said: “Life is a colorful robe, covered with fleas.”
It has been said that if you compare words to bodies, misspellings, misspellings, mispunctuations and other wounds are the fleas on your coat.
We should avoid typos, misuse of words, punctuation errors and so on.
When we were at school, we used two blank Spaces to break the text, which is not really suitable for reading on a phone screen.
We should distinguish paragraphs by “leaving one line blank”, and don’t make each paragraph too long. Otherwise you’ll find a pile of text piled on top of each other, making it hard to read further.
In my opinion, if there are two periods in each paragraph, you can skip to the next paragraph. In this way, readers can follow the author’s thinking step by step and avoid thinking out of the box.
In addition, when English, numerals and Chinese meet, they should leave a space between them. It makes reading more comfortable.
As follows:
Java is the best development language for 60% of programmers.
Make sure you get some technical terms right, like:
- Many people write Java as Java;
- MySQL is written as MySQL;
We need to pay attention to that.
In addition, mobile phones are not suitable for large sections of code pasting, we need to try to illustrate the relationship between the main principles and classes, only paste the key code.

In the process of writing the public number, there are some readers and the author of the public number asked me what tools to draw, draw color matching skills.

There are two main reasons why people think the drawing is not pretty:
- Color collocation is too much, more than three kinds of color collocation, color control difficulty we can not control.
- The use of too much high saturation color, high saturation color will be more eye-catching, but also cause visual fatigue; Low saturation colors are more durable and easier to read.
What are the skills of low saturation color matching?
In a hue ring, the closer it is to the axis, the less saturated it is. Taking hue ring 12 as an example, commonly used color matching techniques are shown in the figure below:

Subject to beautify
After writing the content, many people will ask again, I am not a professional editor, do not know how to beautify the article style, how to do?
I recommend that you use Markdown syntax to edit your articles. It’s important to know Markdown syntax as a programmer.
To complete the theme beautification, paste your Markdown content into https://www.mdnice.com/, which has many themes to choose from.
I prefer the theme of Pornhub yellow, you can choose one according to your favorite.
There is no need to waste too much time on theme, for us, content is the most important thing.
Answer advertisement is right and wrong
Code brother is just an ordinary engineer, in the spare time to write the public account in fact, there are several purposes:
- Improve your personal influence. As the saying goes, good programmers should blog.
- Through writing articles to share their own development experience and knowledge to let programmers less detour, but also deepen and consolidate the knowledge learned;
- Through the public number to receive advertising money.
With the onslaught of short videos and the current explosion of information, there are more and more ways for people to learn.
The open rate of the public article is far down, obviously has gone downhill.
Once naive thought, write a good article will be paid attention to and read, incidentally also can make money.
I was careless, because writing an article doesn’t cost me a little.
Write an original, after setting the theme, plan the title, build the frame, look up information, write the first draft, typesetting, drawing, proofreading, polishing and so on very many steps.
Finished to run, to promote their own articles.
An official account is a closed stream of information, and your article may not even be seen, let alone followed.
It is not easy to accumulate certain reading, so I received some advertising to stimulate their own, after all, can not rely on love to generate electricity.
If I take into account the cost of the original articles published each month and compare it with the monthly advertising fee, I find it is a losing proposition. The advertising fee is a drop in the bucket.
The reason I insist that I continue writing is probably the sense of pride that comes from having someone read the article and clicking “share” and “watching” after it is published.
Rightness, those who see public number receive advertisement to say: “every day receive advertisement, take close.” People can take off now, don’t make me swear.
The current plan is to take up to three ads a month, hopefully not in the face.
Don’t judge others without suffering.
Future plans
Public learning knowledge is very scattered, so I will use a series of ways to write articles, with you from head to toe to set up an overall view.
In addition to technology, I will write some career experience, career planning and learning skills in the future.
