B and C concepts

The use of b-side is often long and immersive, and b-side is to serve all employees of the company or enterprise.

- Facing individual users, it is mostly used by a single individual and pays attention to the user’s sense of use. It has a core function, while other functions are additional and serve for the “fragmented time”. It is characterized by large data volume, because of the large user group, the data growth is exponential.
- Examples: wechat, Taobao, netease Cloud Music, etc.
Distinguish from connection
1. User type
- End B: relatively small number of users –>> enterprises, businesses, generally called “customers”
- C end: relatively large number of users –>> terminal individuals, generally called “users”
2. Display mode and profit model
- B end: Basically PC end, most of which provide customized paid products, preferring enterprise work system –> “customized paid”
- C terminal: the mobile terminal is the primary terminal and the PC terminal is the secondary terminal. Most of the functions are free. On the basis of free, paid functions such as advertising and promotion are added –> “Economies of scale”
3. Product design
- End B: To meet the cooperation between different organizations, the system is modular, and system users are generally divided into multiple roles, including role allocation and permission management
- End C: there is a core function point on which value-added services and better user experience can be added. Users are generally divided according to age, personality and preferences
4. Operation strategy
- B end: mainly offline; Relatively traditional, through “large conferences, industry exhibitions”, professional Angle to attract corporate customers.
- C end: mainly online; Encourage users to share online through “coupons, red envelopes” and other rewards to improve product attention.
