1.1 Openpilot: Open source autonomous driving system
Star growth this week: 2000+
Openpilot is an open source project belonging to Comma.ai, a company founded by George Hotz, who was the first person to unlock the iPhone baseband and later cracked the SONY PS3. He turned down Musk’s million-dollar salary to start his own self-driving company, Comma.ai, and announced plans to launch his own self-driving rear suite.
Official Versions of Openpilot support:
- Lane hold: Control the steering wheel to keep the vehicle in the middle of the left and right lanes.
- ACC cruise: detect the car in front and obstacles, adjust the speed (accelerator and brake) according to the speed of the car in front, and keep a safe distance from the car in front.
- Automatic assisted lane change: When the driver needs to change lanes, it is necessary to turn on the turn signal (steady on), confirm the lane change is safe, and then gently push the steering wheel in the direction of lane change, the vehicle will go to the side lane, after the lane change is completed, the driver needs to turn off the turn signal.

3Blue1Brown is a YouTube channel created by Stanford University math student Grant Sanderson. The channel offers a unique visual perspective on higher mathematics, including linear algebra, calculus, neural networks, Riemann conjecture, Fourier transforms, quaternions, and more.
It’s well worth a look. The authors also open source Manim, through which the animations in the tutorial were created.

2.1 Rubick: Open source toolbox
Star growth this week: 540+
🔧 Based on electron open source toolbox, free integration of rich plug-ins.
A similar ecologically mature software is uTools, but the software itself is closed source.
In the beginning, Rubick’s pitch was to support uTools plugins, so far the pitch has been removed, but Rubick has a lot of freedom to help you implement your own toolset.
