Indexed Database API 2.0

https://www.w3.org/TR/2017/PR-IndexedDB-2-20171116/

On 16 November 2017, The Web Platform Working Group of THE W3C released a Proposed Recommendation for Indexed Database API 2.0 and solicited comments for review. This document defines an application programming interface (API) to access the database for database record-keeping simple values and hierarchical objects. Each record in a database consists of a key and some key values. In addition, such databases contain several index structures. Application developers can access database records directly using an API through keys or indexes. Based on this API, richer query languages can be supported and indexed databases can be implemented using a persistent B-tree structure. The public is invited to submit their comments for review before December 14, 2017.
