If you have 20 files in your folder, including pictures and word files, how can you quickly view the contents of the files? You don’t have to open any programs to use the Mac’s “File Preview” feature. Files, some movies, pictures, and more can be opened in Finder seconds. It really is!
How do I enable the Mac File preview function
To open a preview of a file in the Finder interface, select a file (click select, don’t double click open) and press the blank key:
Like the image above, I clicked on the file “callcar029-01.png”.
Press the blank key, it will jump directly to preview:
In preview mode, “click up, down, left and right arrow keys to change the selected file”, the preview content will change with the selected file; In preview mode, click “open with XXX” in the upper right corner to open the file with its own program.
Don’t even want to press a blank key? Preview multiple files directly
The Finder has a slider in the lower right corner that allows you to zoom in and out of preview images. So if you need to search through multiple files, zoom in on them all at once.
Use the preview function to avoid opening the wrong file. Sometimes just want to see the content of the file, you can also do it directly in the preview mode, without opening a special App.
