Google is an everyday search tool for everything from gossip to technical documents. Although we use it every day, there are a number of search hacks that not everyone knows. These tips can help us find the information we want faster and more accurately, and greatly improve our search efficiency.
Use quotation marks for exact matching
Put double quotation marks around the keyword to be searched, and the search engine will return results that match the keyword. Generally, Google search keywords can be phrases (without Spaces) or sentences, but if a sentence is used as a keyword, it must be enclosed in English quotation marks, otherwise it will be divided into several phrases for search.

If you don’t want to find something, use the – operator after the search term to exclude the specified content.
Example: Enter “LeanCloud”- Baidu Encyclopedia to search for LeanCloud content, excluding information from Baidu Encyclopedia.

Search numeric range
If you only want to query a range of numbers, you can use the.. Limits, and finally units of measurement, will help you find exactly what you’re looking for. Such as 10.. 35 jins, 300.. 500 yuan, 2010.. In 2011.
Example: Search box enter JavaScript 2019.. In 2021, you can find content about JavaScript between 2019 and 2021.

Wildcard or unknown word
* is a wildcard character that can replace any word or phrase. This is useful if you want to find the lyrics to a song but can’t remember the exact words.
Example: new clothes, new hair *Windows98

Example: Search for Websites in Both English and Chinese that contain Python or HTML CSS, or both

Search by file type
If you only want to find PDF files, Word documents, or EXCEL tables, you can use the FileType: operator. Other supported formats include PS, DWF, KML/KMZ, PPT, RTF, and SWF.

On-site search
Enter site:+ url + keyword in the input box, you can directly search the site and keyword related content.
Example: site:leancloud.cn IM
Quick search
Look up the meaning of the words
Example: define: BaaS
Related: Searches for sites related to domain names
Example: related:apple.com
Intext: Find pages whose content contains a keyword
Example: intex: leancloud
