I have been writing blog posts for CSDN since 2004. I have written over 400 original posts, but most of them are purely technical. Since 2015, as I have devoted myself to the Track of Internet of Things for more than two years, I began to publish my thoughts and thoughts on the Internet of Things in programmer magazine or CSDN and other public accounts. Now it seems that some of these ideas and insights are still relevant and worth revisiting and thinking about. Select a few representative words from previous articles, interested friends can communicate together.
I did a brief inventory of the history of the Internet of Things, foresee xiaomi’s growth in the home Internet of Things, and feel that Alibaba, Tencent or Baidu will have a presence in the Internet of Things in the future. But at that point in time, there wasn’t a strong sense of hope for hard or soft infrastructure for the Internet of Things. Looking back, we didn’t really start building the hardware and software infrastructure for the Internet of Things until two or three years later. The article links: mp.weixin.qq.com/s/83tqPh6cU…
What is Internet +, what is Internet of Things? Since then, I have been aware that the Internet of Things is an extension of traditional automation technology from a technical point of view. However, the development concept of Internet + is completely different from that of the Internet of Things. The integration of soft and hard is not a simple “+”. It can be seen from ali’s current efforts to promote HaaS that hardware is service, which is the essence of the future development of the Internet of Things. At the end of the paper, there is a judgment on the future development direction of the Internet of Things project, which is as follows: At present, Internet giants at home and abroad are mostly targeting the Internet of Things field for civil use, such as smart home and Internet of vehicles. These fields are characterized by large quantity and relatively uniform, and no special customization is required for each customer (especially for hardware, there is little difference, and the customization is mostly in software). However, in the non-civil field, even similar projects often have relatively big changes in software and hardware due to different final customers and technological processes. In addition, different from civil products, one is the relatively harsh application environment, two is the requirement of 24*7 continuous operation, relatively high requirements for stability and reliability, three is easy to expand, easy to maintain. Therefore, the future development direction of such Internet of Things projects is definitely to first work hard on reliability and to extract common parts as much as possible to minimize the modification amount of each project after meeting the needs of long-term use. Most likely future development direction is, of course, as the division of labor is more and more fine, now the development of cloud computing is more and more mature, the establishment of the Internet protocol standard and improvement of customer technical ability, the future may be in the final customer, under the unified coordination of different Internet vendors do each part (or soft or hard), common to complete the final project. At present, there are generally no problems. The Internet of Things in the smart home field has begun to take shape, but in the non-civilian field, efforts still need to be made, and there is still a long way to go. However, due to the mature development of Internet of Things platform, different Internet of things manufacturers do part of each, has gradually become a reality. June 2017 — Microsoft baidu Ali three Internet of Things cloud platforms a relatively in-depth inventory of Microsoft, Baidu and Ali three Internet of Things platform, did not think of the least promising Ali Internet of Things platform, but stood out as the current Internet of things platform industry benchmark. From then on, I basically gave up building the Internet of Things platform by myself, and focused on the hardware device side of the Internet of Things, which was complex, either multi-level network or industry-specific. For now, that seems to be in the right direction. Article links:Mp.weixin.qq.com/s/gI6oif1FK…
May 2019 — Alibaba Cloud’s road to iot was relatively lucky. At the beginning of the second half of 2017, I was deeply involved in some work of Alibaba Cloud iot platform, so I wrote a not too accurate road to the development of Alibaba Cloud iot from my personal perspective. However, the future Internet of Things platform is really as the general manager of The Internet of Things Business Division of Ali Cloud said: The future Internet of Things platform will be like the communication platform, more and more become a kind of infrastructure, we will carry forward, shoulder this responsibility.
