Many of the standard features of the SAP Cloud for Customer are controlled by Scoping, meaning that the Administrator can turn them on or off when the project is implemented.
Because SAP C4C can no longer be configured in SAPGUI using SPRO transaction code as ABAP on-premises used to be:
In the Cloud world, the SAP C4C keyuser (or Administrator) is configured in the browser using Either Administrator or Business Configuration.
In the Business Configuration Center, click Edit Project Scope to modify the Scoping Settings:
If you encounter the following error message: you are not authorized to access the solution profile. The solution profile does not match your user settings.
You cannot access this project with your user, please use a business user.
This means that the current user is assigned a work center for PDI Development and is therefore not a Business user.
Switch to a Business user without PDI Development assigned and reopen the Business Configuration workcenter.
In this article, we take the Route function of SAP Cloud for Customer as an example to show how to modify the Scoping setting of the project in the Business Configuration Workcenter.
Go to the scoping step in the wizard and expand the Sales node:
Check the Activity Management function’s Scoping item checkbox:
Then click Next to go to the Questions wizard from the Scoping wizard.
Do you want to use Route templates to Schedule Periodic creation? Check in scope.
Assign the Visits work center view (ID: COD_VISIT_WCF) to appropriate business users or roles.
After this step, we can assign the workcenter with id COD_VISIT_WCF to the Business User or business Role:
We can also configure details of the Route function, known as fine Tuning.
Click Open Activity List:
Change the drop-down list from Activities in Project to All Activities:
Enter Route keyword in the search bar to search for the fine Tune activity Define Window for Route Scheduling, and click Add to Project to Add it to the Project:
Enter the activity to configure the Route details:
This configuration can be interpreted as the configuration in SPRO in a traditional ABAP system:
