Markdown is a lightweight markup language with a simple syntax that is easy to use and is popular with programmers, bloggers and others. Markdown has become more popular as more blogging systems support it. A handy Markdown editor can keep you engaged in writing, focused on words, and smooth as water.

Here are five different editors that have their own features, and one of them may be right for you. As the saying goes, “If you want to do a good job, you must first sharpen your tools.” Choose a Markdown editor that suits your needs.

1, the Mark of the Text

If you’ve ever used Typora, you’ll be familiar with this editor. Instead of the usual two-column format, it uses the same “WHAT YOU see is what you get” approach as Typora, giving you a distraction-free writing experience. It supports two Markdown extensions, Mathematical expressions (KaTeX), front Matter and emoji, CommonMark Spec and GitHub Mocking Markdown Spec. It also has a variety of preset themes and will open up its own ability to import themes in the future.

VNote is developed in C++, based on Qt 5.9. It claims to be the note-taking software that knows more about programmers and Markdown, and while it doesn’t look pretty, it does a lot of good. Flowchart with Vim mode and a series of powerful shortcuts, relationship inserting directly from the clipboard, support for Mermaid, Flowchart. Js, MathJax, PlantUML and Graphviz, powerful in-place preview (diagrams, diagrams, formulas), A really powerful Markdown editor that knows a lot about programmers.

Notable is a Markdown editor developed in TypeScript. Notable supported GFM(GitHub- Markdown), KaTeX, and S03E05. It’s the same as the VS Code editor, so it has built-in features like multiple cursors, minimaps, and nice syntax highlighting. It has a columnar design and can also import Evernote notes.

The editor was developed by Automattic, WordPress’s parent company (yes, the same company that bought Tumblr!). . As the name suggests, it is a very simple, very small editor.
