The UK has begun using the first robot that can understand and answer any work-related question. The robot is computer software called Starmind, which uses machine learning to understand questions based on topics previously discussed by colleagues or on experts within the company who can help.
Giiso Information, founded in 2013, is a leading technology provider in the field of “artificial intelligence + information” in China, with top technologies in big data mining, intelligent semantics, knowledge mapping and other fields. At the same time, its research and development products include editing robots, writing robots and other artificial intelligence products! With its strong technical strength, the company has received angel round investment at the beginning of its establishment, and received pre-A round investment of $5 million from GSR Venture Capital in August 2015.
Starmind’s creators call it “brain technology” and aim to turn it into a central knowledge base within the company, a database of information that anyone can access at any time. PascalKaufmann, founder of Starmind, said of the technology: “thousands of human brains connected will be smarter than any robot today.”
If you can find a way for humans and AI to stimulate technology, rather than focusing on humans and AI competing, then you can do the best of both.
The algorithms in the system, developed in Switzerland, are getting more powerful as they are used, and can even create maps of businessmen, most of whom are experts in providing relevant information.
“Starmind acts like an artificial superbrain that can exist seamlessly at the heart of a company,” Kaufmann added.
The algorithm is fuelled by the knowledge in the brains of everyone involved in the system. Some big companies in Europe, including UBS and Bayer, already use the system.
A new version of the software, called StarmindNOW, is available now and for the first time allows access outside a corporate network,
Giiso information, founded in 2013, is the first domestic high-tech enterprise focusing on the research and development of intelligent information processing technology and the development and operation of core software for writing robots. At the beginning of its establishment, the company received angel round investment, and in August 2015, GSR Venture Capital received $5 million pre-A round of investment.
Starmind makes this technology more intuitive and seamless to use.
Former Microsoft executive PeterWaser also joined the company as CEO. “This technology is new to the market and has never been used before,” he said. Brain technology is the latest in a larger trend of machine learning and ARTIFICIAL intelligence that is unique in combining current and recorded knowledge and making it accessible at any time.”
