In the past, because I wanted to have a very clear way to tell me how to change the default path, most of the blogs only wrote part of it, and there was a small part of it, so I tried many times without success; Now, I’m going to put my success story straight up here.

Complete the following steps

  1. First we need to open CMD and type the following line of code
    jupyter notebook --generate-config
Copy the code
  1. We’ll get something like that

  2. Then select the path I marked red and copy it, paste it in the file manager, and automatically jump to the specified location as shown below

  1. Use Notepad or any other tool that displays text to open the file I selected and go to C.notebookapp.notebook_dir

  1. Then remove the # and fill in the path you want it to jump to when it opens, such as the Hello folder on disk C:

  1. After the completion of this, most of the content is completed, the latter part is indispensable, mine is because there is no change, but did not modify successfully
    • Go to the Shortcut to Jupter Notebook, open its properties and do what you see in the screenshot below
    • The selected delete part must be deleted, otherwise, the previous operation has no effect
    • If I open it again, it will jump to the Hello file on disk C that I set up

conclusion

  • There is no problem with most path modification in this note, however, the file cannot have Spaces and Chinese characters. I will update this note if it is solved, and I also hope that friends who know can tell me.
