Clarivate Analytics today released its list of highly cited scholars for 2018.

Clarivate Analytics’ Highly cited Scholars’ data is one of the world’s oldest and most influential annual surveys of top universities.

A total of 6,000 scholars in 21 fields were included in the list this year.

For highly cited researchers in 2018, Clarivate Analytics surveyed papers published and cited in the decade from 2006 to 2016, using Essential Science Indicators (ESI) to identify the top 1% of cited researchers.

Based on the report and the homepages of Chinese universities, a list of 23 computer science scholars from mainland universities was compiled.
