Buying books is not a good habit
All of you crayons learning to code (like me) have a bad habit: buying books. Why do I say it’s a bad habit? There are several reasons:
- Buy back before set a grand ambition, dark rub rub to tell yourself that you can certainly finish reading
- When the book first arrived, he carefully removed the plastic packaging and picked up the little book to make plans
- After reading n (n <= 3) days, still in a fresh state, I feel I can certainly finish reading
- N days later, the book is lying quietly in a corner, lying quietly. Never turned it over again
- Finally one day in retrospect, ORIGINALLY I bought XXX book. I’m a little short of cash, so why don’t we hang the fish?
The above several, I would like to call the world famous “a Book of mind Course”. That’s why I say buying books is never a good habit. So, how can you learn from books and quit the bad habit of buying books?
First of all, for students of technology, there is no one who does not surf the Internet. Since the premise of Internet access is satisfied, there is a very important concept must be made into a seal into my mind: excellent information on the network has been flooded, and the resources on the network update much faster than books, you just need the right learning method + constant patience.
If books must be bought, there is another idea: books are bought to be consulted, to be used as technical dictionaries. In other words, if you buy a book, be sure to buy classic books, and don’t be a textbook to read, read! The right way to open a technical book is to read it and learn it quickly.
However, video classes are far more comfortable than books. The largest MOOC site in the world is Coursera, but the largest MOOC site in China is here. Where do you think it is?
