Google is officially releasing the fourth preview of Android N today, with the SDK and API finalized compared to the first three. The full name of the new version is Android N Dev Preview 4.
The fourth developer preview update for Android N, the final API and SDK, was released today! Developers can update the SDK and set the application to compileSdkVersion and targetSdkVersion to 24 for development testing. With the release of the final SDK, the Android Support Library has been updated to 24.0.0.
As we can see, Google has improved and finalized some development interfaces (apis) in this release, which means that third-party Android developers can now develop applications based on Android N without worrying about future changes to Android N.
In addition to confirming the interface, Google also removed a new feature that had been considered important — support for force touch — from the latest version. This means that pressure touch will no longer be supported on the official version of Android N.
So, interested developers and programmers can try to update to the latest version and develop applications for Android N without worrying about it.
