On March 7th, I received a telephone interview from alibaba’s Network department. It was 10 o ‘clock in the evening. The interviewer asked me if I was available for a simple telephone interview. So I had my first phone interview. After I introduced myself, I asked some questions, and THEN I lost. Later on, I realized that I didn’t have the necessary preparation, so that evening I wrote: prepare a pen, paper and earphones for phone interviews in advance. Pay special attention to the company’s resume, be sure to learn about the company’s main business in advance, so that you can score points in the internship interview.
In the following days, I interviewed bytedance, JINGdong, Huawei, Glodon, Hikvision and other companies for internship positions, and got internship offers from Huawei and Hikvision. As for bytedance’s interview, which focused on the candidate’s programming ability, I was asked two questions, integer flipping and traversal of binary trees. I hesitated. 【 Now in retrospect, these two questions are too easy. I blame myself for taking the postgraduate entrance examination and finding a job in another major. I haven’t learned data structure.
For the interview of JINGdong, the first, second and HR interviews were normal. The interviewer praised the second interview and said: Young man, I think your theory is quite good, so it should be no problem to come to the internship. I thought, brother, this is all on paper, recited the technical knowledge points, I did not fully understand. HR said the result would come in two weeks, so wait patiently. At that time, I was very happy to hear that the first internship Offer was almost in the bag, so I happily went out to dinner with my roommates, and did not want to continue to participate in the internship interview of other companies. My Autumn campus recruitment (end of August — end of October)
I finished my internship at the end of August 2019. Since I was not satisfied with the working place of the internship company, I planned to participate in the autumn recruitment again at that time, so I began to join the trend of autumn recruitment at the end of August. We have successively delivered to large and small companies, such as private enterprises: Meituan, Alibaba Cainiao, Didi, Xituotuo.com, Hangzhou Sina Weibo, Guanglianda, Jinshanyun, etc., and state-owned enterprises: ZTE, China Mobile Research Institute, some subsidiaries of Aerospace Sanjiang Group, Hikvision, etc.
The biggest difference between autumn recruitment and internship recruitment is that the technical knowledge point of internship recruitment is very shallow and the technical aspect is narrow. The interviewer will also be very tolerant and will not fail you because you can’t answer a few small questions. But in autumn recruitment, the interviewer will not let go, programming questions brush out, pass off; There are a few unanswered questions, Pass. In a word, autumn recruitment is a step higher than internship recruitment, which tells us that we should not waste the two months of summer vacation, “make good preparation for autumn recruitment”. As for the interview of Meituan, I happened to be an intern in Beijing at that time, and had the honor to attend the on-site interview of Meituan. The interviewer asked basic questions and gave relatively simple questions. Sometimes the answers were incomplete, and the interviewer also patiently gave instructions. [Note: The in-person interview is more advantageous than the online interview, because candidates can present their projects on paper by drawing a flow chart. Meanwhile, the interviewer will not be too difficult to ask questions and will be very patient.] It’s a pity that I didn’t make good preparation for the database. It’s a pity that I had such a good interviewer. The interviewer will send me to the elevator of Meituan Company and see me off kindly.

For the interview of Glodon and Jinshanyun, they came to my school in late October to advertise and recruit. The autumn recruitment was in full swing, and the recruitment of these two companies might have been finished and the recruitment quota was valid. They got the reply on the afternoon of the interview and were passed again.
For the interview with ZTE, the whole process was finished and the company needed to give a reply within one day. As the salary did not meet the requirements, the Offer was rejected.
For the interview of China Mobile Research Institute, I thought I would get my first Offer after taking the offline written test and two rounds of interview in mid-September. I didn’t expect there would be an online written test in the middle of November. The process was really slow.
For hikVISION interview, the assessment was done late, I didn’t attend the school’s publicity meeting to learn the latest information, and I missed the link of written test during the school’s publicity, so it was not ok to go to the site to hold interviews. HR explained that the direct interview was not allowed without the written test. So, deliver resume, evaluation must do as soon as possible, do not procrastinate.
Campus recruitment summary:
(1) After delivering the resume, evaluation must be done as soon as possible, don’t miss the recruitment process.
(2) The interview should be “up, down”.
(3) For particularly interested companies, it is well worth the travel expense and time, because there are advantages to attending an on-site interview.

From the beginning of March to October 27, 2019, I took part in nearly 70 interviews, including telephone interview, video interview and on-site interview, which was a huge test for my body and mind. As a fresh graduate majoring in communication, I threw myself into the software development industry. During this period, some students asked me why I didn’t change my direction because the interview competition was so fierce. I answered that there is no turning back an arrow since I have chosen the distance. Now I have signed a contract with a company engaged in smart city management services. Looking back on the autumn recruitment, I have had some failures and successes. I give myself a self-evaluation that “although the technology is very poor, I can study hard”.
