An Uber self-driving car hit a 49-year-old woman on a pedestrian crossing in Arizona. She died in hospital.

The car was fully self-driving, with a controller in the seat, but that did not prevent the disaster. It is believed to be the world’s first fatal accident involving a fully autonomous vehicle.

Internet users were outraged by the news, expressing their “doubts and dissatisfaction” over the driverless cars

Immediately after the crash, Uber stopped all self-driving testing in San Francisco, Pittsburgh, Toronto and other parts of Phoenix, and said it was cooperating fully with authorities.

There are concerns that the incident will drive driverless cars further and further away from us, but others doubt the truth of the matter

Finally, the results of the survey came in. Guess what? This netizen was right! An initial investigation into the crash suggests Uber may not have been at fault.

Police Chief Sylvia Moir said footage from the Uber car’s camera showed that the accident occurred about 91 meters from the crosswalk, and that the victim’s crossing the road was the main cause of the accident.

“It would have been extremely difficult to avoid this traffic accident, whether it was manned or on autopilot.” Director Sylvia Moir added.

The accident was distressing, but as netizens said, it was inevitable. Self-driving cars are supposed to be perfect, but they make mistakes and grow from them like humans.

This applies to all emerging technologies. In the case of our Giiso writing robot, the first experience was a pleasant surprise, but then some people couldn’t help but find fault. Even said Giiso wisdom will be more intelligent, use more naturally easier to write the article you want.
