Results of two tests
1. Register an account on the official website, download the software, and directly double-click perfdog.exe to run it
2. Connect the phone with the data cable for the first time after login (open THE USB debugging mode and allow the desktop suspension window permission)

1.USB mode test:
For USB connection, select the USB icon device in the device list to test the USB mode (the test power in plug mode is meaningless).
2.WIFI mode test (test power) :
After the USB connection, select the WIFI icon device in the device list to test the WIFI mode. Disconnect the USB cable after the WIFI connection is successfully detected. (Note: THE PC and the phone under test should be connected to the same WIFI. After the WIFI connection is successfully detected, unplug the USB cable of the phone under test (the power test in plug mode is meaningless))
3. Select the test application (here I tested a rhythm master of Tencent audio game). After selecting the application, the mobile phone will display the information of suspension window in the upper left
4. Perfdog starts real-time monitoring of data in the game (add monitor option from the plus sign in the lower right corner, click screenshot)
Click the blue play button in the upper right to start the test, the software will automatically collect data
5. After the test, the data can be uploaded to the cloud platform or saved locally
6. The cloud platform will display the detailed data for this test
In general, compared to other testing tools such as GameBench, at least for now, it’s good to be free.
However, there is no way to compare multiple measurements, which needs to be improved.
