On the 6th anniversary of GraphQL Java, the Spring community announced the creation of a new project: Spring GraphQL via a blog post, along with the release of the milestone 1.0 version of the new project.

The mission of the project is to integrate GraphQL Java into the Spring ecosystem, and the development of the project will be undertaken by both teams.
What is GraphQL?
Even though GraphQL has been very popular abroad, it has not been widely used in China, just like Hibernate and JPA. So many developers don’t really know what GraphQL is.
GraphQL is a global GraphQL website.
GraphQL is a query language for apis, as well as a data query language. It provides an easy-to-understand set of complete descriptions of the data in your API, which allows the client to get exactly what it needs without any redundancy, makes it easier for the API to evolve over time, and can be used to build powerful developer tools.
GraphQL Java with Spring GraphQL
GraphQL is an idea, and implementation is up to each technology platform.
At present, the mainstream development languages basically have ready-made class libraries to use, and GraphQL Java is the implementation of Java platform.
Although GraphQL is an implementation of the Java language, so far it has only been an engine to execute GraphQL requests. The disadvantages are obvious. In practical application development, users need to create their own HTTP adapters to further use the business.
Spring GraphQL Java and Spring GraphQL Java are working together to create a new GraphQL project that will benefit both users. Let this advanced idea get landing possibility.
