Beginner’s mind

In the beginning, I wrote my blog just to record my life, to record my growth, and I wrote anything I wanted to record. I want to share the holes I’ve stepped in so that no one else has to step in the same hole, and share what I’ve learned to help me understand and remember, and hopefully help others.

I always believe that “knowledge belongs to the world”. I was struck by the spirit of Linux and thought that sharing and open source was the best way to change myself and the world.

clutter

Later, I found that my blog was a mess, unstructured, with one post after another, neither in-depth nor thought-provoking.

I started to want to write a series of tutorials, but the first reason was my lack of ability and the second reason was my lack of energy. As I was still in a period of rapid learning, I was likely to have to learn the next one before I had finished learning one knowledge. This lack of time resulted in many “incomplete” series of articles.

impetuous

As I learned more and more technology, more and more things in my mind, I began to think, can I realize?

So I wanted to open an official account and drainage on Zhihu and CSDN in the hope of monetising my knowledge. Then I began to urge myself to write more, even if I had no idea and was not ready, I would keep updating. However, the quality did not keep up with it, and people began to worry.

reflection

  • If I turn my hobby into a job, is that a form of selling myself?
  • If I start focusing on short-term gains, instead of trying to get stronger, and just focus on getting powder and cash every day, will I never move forward in my life?
  • If I put all my energy into searching articles and piecing them together into my own blog, would it be impossible for me to read them in depth and put them into practice?

So, if you take the pattern one step up

  • Focus on how to write better, how to learn more about technology, and how to help more people. Instead of being a slave to the writing platform.
  • Make the article have a longer term impact, or even if you have a good idea, directly affect the entire tech community for many years. Is that a more romantic goal than making money?
  • Strive for quality, not quantity.
  • Study – practice – share – discussion – review, I think this is the best way to learn.
