preface

After the first two sections, Lao Gu has a preliminary understanding of the meaning and structural content of HTML. So today Gu will continue learning about the HEAD tag in HTML.

Contains the content

In general, the head tag contains only the following six contents.

First, the title tag

This is the title of the page, so every page needs the title tag

2. Meta tags

Meta tags are used to define specific meanings of pages, such as page description and keywords. This is to “search engine spider” see, such as Baidu spider, sogou spider and so on. So this tag has something to do with the “SEO” of a page.

The name attribute

HTTP – equiv properties

This tag is important for two main purposes: one is the page encoding, one is the refresh jump

Page Code:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8 />

Of course, in HTML5, we can just abbreviate it

<meta charset=utf-8/>

The addition of a code to prevent web pages from garbled, UTF-8 is a code.

Refresh jump:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="3; url=https://owzz.com />

This allows the page to jump to another page within 3 seconds.

3. Style tag, Script tag, link tag, Base tag, etc

I’m not going to go into that as I’m learning these labels.
