One, nine months ago

Back in March of this year.

For a long time, I have followed requirements, developed, tested, and launched in a step-by-step manner, and sometimes I can get a little overwhelmed by multiple requirements. But I never found a good way to break through. Until one day, I started writing technical documentation.

I am not good at writing design schemes, but without design schemes for large-scale system project development, it is difficult to control the pace and quality of development.

In the beginning, my documentation was like a running list, and I simply translated the requirements into front-end features and listed them. In my spare time, I take a hard look at my design documents to see where I can improve. I tried to develop repetitive features into common components, and wrote down new features as required, so I had my first decent design.

In the days after that, I would carefully write development documents for all requirements.

Two, five months ago

In the following four months, I ushered in my transformation. My development efficiency increased by 35%, and the quality of development was greatly improved. Moreover, I also possessed the ability of multi-requirement parallelism, which had been bothering me. In those four months, I wrote every design scheme with my heart, and the development ideas became more and more flexible. Some unexpected schemes flashed through my mind. I seized that little bit of inspiration and realized it in code, and the next time it was displayed in my design document.

Due to the business of the company, it is not convenient to show my designs to you, but they will be presented to you in other ways in the future.

Looking back, I am one of the older developers, and there were some nights when I could not sleep due to pressure and anxiety. No matter how confused I was, I once thought of giving up and going home to farm (in fact, after waking up, I found that I could not do farming myself).

Three, three months ago

Time came three months ago, there is a sentence particularly in line with my mood at that time: because I have been in the rain, so I want to hold an umbrella for others.

We often hear that I’m writing a lot of business features and it feels like the technology isn’t improving. I’ve been stuck in a situation where I’ve written a lot of business features in my development career, and there are new technology stacks that I learn but don’t really use.

So I tried to find out what I could do in terms of business needs. Yes, it is a flash point, very common page display, I tried to change the idea, reusability, minimal modification cost, maintainability, I put these golden rules into the development of the code, developed a new development plan, fruitful, the subsequent new functions, is simply “one click”. My plan sorted out, and I had my first nuggets article.

Then, every once in a while, I update an article. For a long time, WHEN FACED with problems, I would look for solutions on the Nuggets. Many excellent nuggets posts helped me solve a lot of problems. And now, I’ve learned something and I want to share it with you.

Four, nuggets and the future

In the last month of 2021, my development career continues. I sometimes tell my family that I am not a genius, but I do make myself stronger through my own efforts. In the future, growing older is a fact I must face, but age will not necessarily be a barrier for me.
