Resolve SecureFX garble

  • Options menu — > Edit Default Session ->Appearance->Character Encoding Set to UTF-8
  • Click OK and select Change All Sessions
  • restart

If the garble problem is still unresolved

  1. Find the folder where the SecureCRT and SecureFX configuration files are stored. The default path is C:\Users\ Computer Name \AppData\Roaming\VanDyke\Config\Sessions
  2. Ini and IP address. ini files, change Filenames Always Use UTF8 =00000000 to Filenames Always Use UTF8 =00000001 and save the changes
  3. Restart the software.
