Vscode development plug-ins are recommended
Extensions are shortcuts to getting things done. Many extensions help reduce repetitive work, boilerplate code, and so on. Other extensions help to assist the development process and even make development faster and more efficient.
How do I install the extension?
First, a quick review of how to install the extension. In VS Code, click the extension on the left, then search for the extension and click Install.
First, I hope you have Dart and Flutter extensions enabled, if not, you can get them here: Dart and Flutter. These provide a lot of functionality that you would normally install when you start using Flutter.
Now let’s go into expansion and see what miracles we can do.
The VScode plugin for flutter development is recommended
Image preview
This is a very cool extension that displays image previews while hovering and stapling lines, which comes in handy when you’re working with a lot of images. You can preview the following file types: PNG, JPEG, JPG, GIF, SVG. This helps us avoid making any mistakes with image paths or names. If you hover over path, the extension provides links to files in the project structure and its dimensions.
Material Icon Theme
Material Theme Icons are used to display attractive icon themes to attractive looking folders. It also makes it easier to identify files and folders.
How to use it?
Launch the command palette (by default, Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows, ⌘+Shift+P on Mac) and type Material Icons, select Activate Icon Theme. When activated, the icon will appear in your Explorer sidebar. It has many customizations, such as you can change colors and so on.
Color Highlight
Many times we use different colors, this extension makes it easy to see the colors given by setting color styles in our code.
