This article may offend many leaders, but for the sake of his fans, the blogger drinks it up.
Dinner talk, dinner talk, dinner talk ~ welcome to watch a new episode of dinner talk ~
Left hand business, right hand love, is the secret of many successful people.
But for a blogger, for a blogger who is devoted to his career, what is love? I can’t afford it anyway.
So, the blogger is left hand technology, right hand PPT.
Before our IT circle spread very widely, is always immersed in technology can not do writing PPT, in the company, the larger the company is more common, those who do not do any work, but often mix well, the success of their secret is PPT and speech.
How did you do that? The reason is that powerpoint presentations are the most direct form of external publicity. The propagandist naturally becomes the central figure in the eyes of the public. They often like to use clever words and cheap psychology, stealthily to borrow flowers to Buddha, zhang Guan-li, steal the fruits of colleagues’ hard work and so on, this kind of people in our IT sector has been despised.
There are cries of outrage, but it usually doesn’t help, because powerpoint bigwigs have long since succeeded in becoming voice masters, corporate leaders. We also affectionately called this kind of people: PPT development engineer, for PPT programming, the old white rabbit, weekly synthesizer ~
In view of this background, I began to concentrate on the practice and thinking of PPT, because only in this way can I remain invincible. Left hand technology, right hand PPT, both hands are hard, to strength strength, to brag will brag. Just ask them if they’re scared? Only when such real technical and emotional intelligence co-exist as the leader, the air in the group will become clear and sweet, and everyone will be more combative.
But how do you become one? Fans often have students ask how to write PPT, speech test technology, promote test tools, the new self introduction, defense, year-end summary and so on……
So, today I will give you a brief introduction to how to make a speech and PPT:
First of all, many students will confuse the concept that PPT is the main body and people are cooperative in the speech process. In fact, this is the cart before the horse, so that the PPT is full of dense words, information and pictures. You think you’re being asked to write a book? Why do we need you when everyone’s looking at powerpoint? Do you just read from the podium? Be a language translator? Wouldn’t it be better to replace you with a pretty girl, so we don’t fall asleep!
You’ve probably seen a lot of master speakers, and they don’t have powerpoint, and if they do, they have only a few pages, or even a table of contents or even just the topic of the talk.
Because during the presentation, the speaker is the main body! Powerpoint is only useful if what you are talking about is hard to understand and you need diagrams to help you clear your mind, so powerpoint is usually just a few diagrams. Or when you need to clarify the quantification of data, the bar/fan chart of PPT can visually show the current overview, only need.
It is advisable to have no more than 20 words per page.
Once you understand the above common sense, you can continue to read how to write a test platform/tool promotion PPT.
I will explain in parts, only with their own years of experience, we think wrong, laugh ~
The first part elaborates the big background.
Why did you make this tool/platform, for OKR? For a promotion and a raise? No, even if it’s true, can we talk about it? Can’t! So why do you want to make this thing, there must be a background, no background, you find you have to find the background.
So how do you write the context that elicits the need for a platform? A pain point in your current job, of course. But remember! Don’t start by talking about these pain points. You’re going to get yourself killed when you say this, because you’re denying the work of people before you, and the work of your boss and colleagues. Don’t end up giving a successful speech and alienating a lot of people. It also makes you sound grumpy and busy, and the whole opening is too soft.
Therefore, the first affirmation, praise, this is called to suppress the first Yang! Start by acknowledging the positive aspects of your current job, compared to the big wins and benefits you achieved long ago. Then again, the fly in the ointment is…
At the beginning of the pain points encountered, remember to turn, but must be slow, euphemistic, bit by bit, so as to prevent the audience from having antipathy, the guidance of thinking is also more smooth.
Note that pain points should be numbered, which can be written on PPT, so that they are clearly organized.
Once you’ve identified the pain points of 1,2,3,4,5, it would be great if there were a tool that could solve them for good. Then take the opportunity to introduce the protagonist of this time, XX test platform.
Part II: Introduction to platform
And then when you introduce the platform, don’t start out very detailed. Don’t show off your project directory structure and code. Because of the quality of your code, developers/algorithmic engineers will probably pick you out on the spot. Or ask you a lot of underlying principles to embarrass you.
This is one of our biggest fears as test developers, because we focus more on interaction and surface design. Not all of us have good popularity and sense of humor like Bang Yi Big brother. We start by saying: you ask me,I don’t know, you ask me,I ask baidu.
Especially in big companies, it’s easy to get picked on by people who don’t like you. At this point the best thing to do, is to face fear, don’t wait until they ask, direct their first introduces the overall architecture of this platform, remember, the more professional, the better, the more stable, the better, the louder the better, even if you’re not right, but be assured that no one pay attention to your details correct or not, your audience is not the future of development partners, but merely a group of audience and users. So you should be very clear, the purpose of this time you are not to tell your students code is not to your subordinates transition projects, but to show their professional enough, strong enough, strong that they couldn’t understand a lot of technology in your mouth easily, if they still want to ask will weigh down themselves, will ask naive but shame yourself.
So the question is, how? For example, if you are using Django, you might say: Instead of MVC, my platform uses MTV technology, and then what are m, T, and V?
To introduce layering, see the following tips.
Web front end layer, Web back-end interaction layer (view logic layer), business layer, basic data infrastructure layer, Web front end layer in the browser by JavaScript to do, temporarily not table, data infrastructure layer, Django data operation close to the Active Record mode, quite perfect, basically do not need to do packaging processing, Focus on the interaction layer and the business layer. The interaction layer mainly accepts the request data and calls the business logic to complete the user interaction.
Django also has a URL distributor, also called routing, that distributes urls to different views for processing
Remember, it doesn’t matter where you read it, it doesn’t matter if your project really has this many layers, it’s important that you don’t tremble when you say it, it’s important that you say it quietly and loudly, and professionally!
At this point, there should be a lot of people who are going to ask you questions, but they are too professional to find fault with you. Remember, you need to give them a chance to release, or they will suddenly react in some circumstances, the situation will become uncontrollable, and the risk will become very high.
So the next stage is to give them to release a stage, this stage don’t talk about implementation technology, the but again like the technology, they can also release, you can calmly replied, so this stage is the page the user interaction platform, and the function design, you have to play is a product manager at this time, attention to make antinomy, deliberately obscure questions point, Wait for them to ask you, free up their opportunity to ask you questions, pass the time, and design trap questions you can answer. This technique is called diversion.
After avoiding the algorithmic architecture phase of the code, you are much less stressed at this stage. The questions they ask are, is this feature good, how to use it, why not design it that way, etc., and then you can talk about my previous article. Take inspiration from this article to answer their questions laterally, if you’re lucky enough to answer them head-on.
In the process of introducing functions, we must take care of the head of the article, that is, those pain points, and each pain point is solved by what function must be clear. Otherwise, the content of the speech will be broken, making people feel too abrupt, all puzzling functional design.
[Part III, The Future is Predictable]
Introduced function is completed, remember to say, the platform is just a phase, later there will be 2 period, and then introduced the function of the second phase, then rest assured bold blows, rest assured bold to draw a pie, as long as don’t draw too far, must give the audience the hope, let everyone trust and believe in you and your team have the ability and determination to do this thing, And keep iterating to make the future of the platform bright.
[Part IV, Tea Ceremony Display]
Next, ask for some green tea and recall the many difficulties you encountered during this process, but successfully solved with the help of your boss, colleagues, and other group leaders.
That way they’ll look good and be embarrassed to get in your way later. Colleagues who are unhappy with you will secretly assume that you are in the good graces of almost all bosses and will probably stop fighting you. Your boss will see you as less of a credit hog, and you’ll be a priority for promotion later on. Your co-workers will see you as peaceful and a good company to work with. So the final thank you phase is basically a three-shot job.
Last but not least, there are still many difficulties and obstacles in the development of the second phase. You are limited by the current level and resources, so I hope you can get more help. Note, this scale must grasp, do not say too difficult, so others will feel that your technology is not good, all matter, the boss will be afraid of your second phase of the cost is too high, simply cut.
Don’t raise any flags when you say it, like I can’t do it without help. Must show that even if they work overtime, eat more pain will ensure the success of the task to win the momentum, even if there is no help, will not delay the progress, he did not threaten the meaning.
Of course, this scale and language is not simple, it is difficult to train, we can see.
End of article:
Speech speech, the main body is people, different people speech, even if the same PPT will have different effects.
In fact, they are not only good at writing PPT, but more importantly, the presentation process is very good.
But probably a lot of students will ask, that blogger is not often such a routine? In fact, it is not just because bloggers have seen too much, and they are good at thinking about the essence, discovering rules and summarizing methodology, so there will be such a rice talk born.
Anyway, as long as the content of PPT is developed by yourself, no one can say anything.
Finally, I wish you a successful speech!
Public speaking is really a skill. What is important is to sigh and speak cake tea.
