PV:
PV (Page View) refers to page views, which is usually the main indicator to measure a network news channel or website or even a network news item. The number of page views is one of the most commonly used indicators to evaluate website traffic, referred to as PV. Monitoring the changing trend of site PV and analyzing the reasons for its change is a lot of webmasters to do regularly. Page The Page in the Views generally refers to ordinary HTML web pages, but also includes DYNAMIC HTML content such as PHP and JSP. A single REQUEST for HTML content from the browser is treated as a PV, which gradually adds up to a total PV.

Generally speaking, we can use two numerical criteria to measure the number of visitors to a site, namely “visits” and “unique visitors (questions)”.
Number of visits and unique visitors are two different things. For example, the number of visits is equivalent to the number of visits to an exhibition. If a visitor visits the exhibition hall 10 times, all 10 visits are counted. The number of unique visitors is equivalent to the number of visitors who bring their id card to the exhibition. Each person who shows his/her ID card to the exhibition, no matter how many times he/she enters the exhibition, will only be counted as an independent visit. The “ID card” in question is the visitor’s IP address or Cookie on the network. In Google Analytics, cookies are used.
The time scale for recording unique visitors can be a day, a month, or even a year. According to international practice, the record standard of the number of unique visitors is generally “one day”, that is, if a visitor visits a website n times from the same IP address within a day, the number of visits is counted as N, and the number of unique visitors is counted as 1.
