preface
Today, I downloaded Ubuntu18.04LTS for the first time. As a programmer who has been using ubuntu 16.04 for a long time, I am still a little excited. Of course, I’m not as excited as I was to get the MAC
By the way, I recommend the old article not the United States turn over how to develop! Ubuntu 16.04 LTS deep beautification! .
Updated the section on experiencing Ubuntu18.04.1LTS with VMware Fusion.
Updated the MAC SSH access to virtual machines section.
Vm Settings
- First go to the official website next image, and then directly into the VIRTUAL machine inside.
- Check the two buttons below, the first to generate a desktop icon, and the second to do some Settings.
- Try to associate MAC and Linux as little as possible, unless you understand what each option does and can use it.
Install the system
- Very familiar with the installation interface and not at all familiar with the operating system interface, Ubuntu? (Covers face), other than getting red, I really can’t recognize it.(Embarrassed face)
- The first time you enter the installation, you will see the following:
Experience in VMware Fusion
In fact, the main reason I use VM is brevity, PD always produces something weird and useless. Leaving the installation part aside, after installing VMware Tools, I chose to use the Retina display, and then I need to go back to Ubuntu to set up the display. Then you can experience the beautiful interface of Ubuntu.
Effect:
The MAC uses SSH to access Linux
First the effect diagram, and then the implementation:
You can see that I have successfully accessed Ubuntu. IP is the IP for Linux.
First you need to install SSH under Linux, then ps check, SSHD is correct. If not, manually enable it.
sudo apt-get install openssh-server
Copy the code
ps -e | grep ssh
Copy the code
sudo /etc/init.d/ssh start
Copy the code
And then you can access it on the MAC.
SSH [email protected]Copy the code
The last
Ok, so there you go, big changes overall, but a lot of things are interesting. However, while reading a paper recently, I found that Huawei engineers are still using 14.04 for network testing. So, Linux really needs to be used, and maybe older versions are better. Like remember to like or follow me oh ~
