According to MacRumors, Parallels Desktop 16.5 for Mac is a native M1 Mac version, Allows Windows 10 Arm Insider Preview and ARM-based Linux distributions to run on virtual machines.

Parallels says the M1 Mac delivers 30% better performance than the 2019 15-inch MacBook Pro (i9+ Radeon Pro Vega 20) when running a Windows 10 Arm VIRTUAL machine. Parallels Desktop 16.5 on an M1 Mac is 2.5 times more energy efficient than the Intel MacBook AIr, according to Parallels. Currently, Microsoft does not offer a retail version of ARM-based Windows. Windows Insider Program members can get a Windows 10 Arm Insider Preview on the Microsoft website.
