The new file

If the window is filled with files and there is no space to right-click to create a new file, you can do so by clicking on the super right-click icon in the upper right corner.
If the default new file type does not meet your needs, you can also add your own. For example, if you want to add an “Xmind” mind map file type, you can follow the following steps:
- Open the “Xmind” App, create a default blank mind map, press “Command-s” to save it, name it “Xmind”, then select the location (this will be the default location for your new Xmind file) and save it.
- Open the “Super Right-click” App in Launchpad, and click the “+” mark in the lower left corner of the new file page.
- Select the Xmind file you just saved and click “Open”.
- The “New File” will now have the Xmind file type. The same goes for adding other file types.
