MySQL installation failed to respond to last step

The first method:

Open drive C, and show the hidden files, then you can find a folder named “ProgamData” under drive C, open it, delete the “mysql” folder inside, and then reinstall mysql

The second method:

1. Force back That pit dead did not respond to hit √ interface, that is, the task manager force back, this is omitted, 2. 3. Open the bin directory 4. Right-click the mysqlinstanceconfig.exe property

There are also cases where

Open installation directory \MySQL\MySQL Server 5.5\bin to find MySQLInstanceConfig. Exe right click on properties -compatibility -check run in Compatibility mode and select XP Service Pack3

Run mysqlinstanceconfig. exe directly (you may need to run as an administrator) 5. According to your normal installation options to configure this time you found that the last step has hit 2 √, even directly installed, there may be 2 √ and then stuck, then wait 5 minutes after repeating the first step to several friends who failed to install this method, also successful

The third way:

MySQL was installed on your computer before and was not completely uninstalled (or uninstalled without restarting your computer).

In this case, you are advised to uninstall MySQL and check whether any MySQL installation traces exist in the MySQL installation directory, C:/Program Files, and C:/Windows

Then run the regedit command to enter the registry, press Ctrl+F, enter MySQL, and select [Full word Match] to check whether there are traces of the MySQL registry. If there is any residue, delete it.

After the MySQL history has been thoroughly cleaned up (preferably by restarting your computer), then reinstall MySQL.

I was the third way, and it worked. The first two didn’t work
