My 2021 year-end review

I started to operate the public account on August 19, 2018, from the beginning of the day, the original intention is very simple, just want to do something in the spare time to write technical articles, from then on, set foot on the road of the public account, insist on writing articles, until now nearly three and a half years, from 0 to 1, from nothing, It is not easy to get to the present, but also had to give up, also felt anxious, only their own experience to truly understand the pain.

In the past year, I still continue to work deeply on wechat public account. After all, wechat is one of the platforms THAT I have always insisted on walking to now, which has brought me the first bucket of gold in my life and some honors and rewards paid for, and has also helped many partners in the IT industry.

Now, this public account has accompanied me through more than three years of day and night, and has accumulated more than 33,000 readers who love learning. Here, Jie Ge is really grateful for your support and affirmation of me. In the future, I hope that more partners in the IT industry can grow together with me and witness each other.

In 2021, a total of 30 original articles were output, which sounds like a small number. Although I failed to complete the Flag set last year, it means that I am very rigorous in polishing the content quality. Here I am also very grateful to the two authors who contributed to me at that time:

  • My year-end review for 2020

There is a certain reason behind the low number of articles produced in 2021, because I am also thinking, including the topic selection, article structure, audience, whether the data will be good and whether it can become a small popular article, all need to be considered, rather than the original number.

In the case of GitHub’s open source project, I collect a lot of notes, but I always feel that some of them can be grouped together. You may not even think about how to write properly, and when you are halfway through writing something, you will delete it and waste your time.

Whether you do text content or video content, always bear in mind: do original content not only the pursuit of the number of articles, to pursue the quality of the article, only to improve the quality of the content of the article, the later transformation and reprinted data will not be bad, so as to create personal IP. Your IP is your brand, and your brand is your content.

If you are now a content creators, may not have to head big V do what a good (although I do), but I don’t suggest you hard to do, in addition to the points I said above, can you do garment vertical aligning with bosses, to deal with them, ask some questions and experience, You will learn from them and you will be inspired to be yourself next.

If you just want to write notes and organize them for yourself, you don’t have to worry about how much you read, how many followers you have, or whether you need to cash in later, that’s fine. Once you’re out in the open in the tech community and want more people to pay attention to your content, you need to take care of the quality of your content and treat it like your own son, and you’ll get better with positive feedback.
