2017 is the second year of my graduation and the third year of Android development. Every year seems to go by without notice until the end of the year. Especially after graduation, only to deeply feel what is called time flies.

After the annual meeting, when there is not much work to do, I will quietly write an article, tidy up the year, and take a walk with myself.

If we use simple words to sum up this year, I think it should be: dull, learning. This year, life is ordinary, there are things to be happy about, but also some “trouble”. In the past year, I have been constantly learning and recharging, writing a lot of articles, learning and trying many new technologies and new ideas.

This year could have been better, but there are no regrets for me.

At the beginning of the target

In 2016, after graduation, I set two goals — losing weight and getting a raise, but only achieved one. Very proud of is, with a summer time, successfully lost 35 pounds, and up to now also did not rebound ^_^.

There are various reasons for my old company, such as wage arrears, which often happens in many Internet start-up companies. However, I am still very grateful. When I was still an ignorant teenager, the company recognized me, and I learned a lot of Android development skills at work, as well as how to communicate with others, and made a bunch of heart-to-heart friends.

But at the beginning of 2017, I realized my second goal of 2016. I changed my job and became a member of xierqi Program Team. Since then, Xierqi, Software Park and Houchang Village Road seem to be inseparable from my life.

So, at the beginning of 2017, I set myself a new goal:

  • learning
  • fitness
  • tourism

Now that I think about it, I seem to have done all of these small goals.

Technical aspects

In 2016, I was deeply aware of my lack of skills, so in 2017, WHAT I have been doing is learning new skills to make up for my lack.

This year, I bought a book called “Data Structure of Big Talk” and went to the gym after work every night. When I came back at about 10 o ‘clock, I learned to review data structure and went to bed at 12 o ‘clock. Fortunately, the data structure has improved a lot.

In terms of Android, I have tried many new things, such as modular development, fingerprint login, Baidu Translation, voice broadcast, code confusion, UnionPay, EventBus, Router solution, DataBinding, MVVM, AR and so on. I am familiar with a lot of custom View. I’ve also written quite a few custom views. Encountered new requirements, learned to analyze and develop solutions, until step by step implementation.

17 years, encapsulated a development framework with Retrofit+RxJava+Glide+Gson+MVP and used it in real work. In the process of development, I also found the deficiencies of the framework, and gradually improved and optimized it. After the Spring Festival, I will take time to submit it to Github to share with you.

Try using MediaPlayer+SurfaceView to package the video player, and call it JsPlayer (of course, Android player, and JavaScript is not related), github address is github.com/shuaijia/Js… I have obtained more than 40 stars. I know this is far from enough, and I will continue to optimize and maintain it.

I am a typical man of science and engineering. I don’t write well and I didn’t like to write before. However, in the latter half of the year, inspired by my friends, I wrote many technology-related articles, including nuggets, CSDN and Jane book. Submitted multiple projects to Github and learned how to create dependency libraries.

Nuggets received more than 2,000 collections, nearly 30,000 reading; CSDN has written nearly 70 articles; Github has 440 contributions and nearly 200 stars.

I hate to write articles from a person, slowly began to like writing, enjoy writing to their own growth. Writing a blog, not only organize their own ideas, but also know many like-minded friends, in this process, help each other, progress together.

The new company is doing online education, the main direction is still video playback. In addition to encapsulating VideoView, MediaPlayer+SurfaceView by myself, I also learned IjkPlayer, Vitamio and ExoPlayer.

During this year’s work, I suggested the project to carry out code confusion, hot-fix integration and interface version development, but for various reasons, it was not carried out. Of course, I also organized a lot of work-related documents.

Unconsciously began to host the way. Is the end of a year, and started the old line, presided over the first two days of the company’s annual meeting. This time, I also challenged myself. I participated in a dance and chorus for nine consecutive hours. I was exhausted physically and mentally. I’m also a code-knocking artist, haha.

At the beginning of the year had planned, the New Year, must practice a “tendon meat”, there was a period of time, every day to go to the gym, of course, pay will have a return, we also had abdominal muscle, hey hey; When it comes to travel, I went to Nanjing, Suzhou, Shanghai and Beidaihe. 2017, let this is a rookie driver I, also slowly become an “old driver”, once in four around again and again…

This year, harvest a lot, but also a lot of trouble, car sharing was cheated, bullied by the intermediary. But let oneself glad is, side has a group of heart-to-heart friends, always accompany, help. Often come out to drink, chat, the heart is always comfort.

Poetry and the distance

In the New Year, I will continue to study, write articles and maintain my blog and public account. In terms of technology, I hope to have a deeper study of video playback and a deeper understanding of Java bottom layer, Android bottom layer and optimization. Keep going to the gym, work out, be a strong program ape…

Life is to constantly surpass themselves, to make progress. Still remember the first time facing 800 people to host, the in the mind is panic, oneself can, can do? But hosted many times, now can also take it in stride. Life’s running, not in the moment, depends on the way. Even if there are thousands of reasons to give up, also want to find a reason to stick to it.
