As the mobile industry globalizes, Google Play is adding a variety of payment options, allowing users to choose their preferred payment method. Please note that the country setting of your Google Play account affects the payment method you can choose.

To change the country/region, you need to set up a new country/region in Google Play. To set up a new country, the user must be located in the corresponding country and have a supported payment method in the new country.

Please note:

  • You can only change the Play country/region Settings once a year. Therefore, if you change the country/region, you cannot change back to the previous country/region for one year.
  • When you change the country, you will no longer be able to use the Google Play balance you had in the previous country in the new country.
  • You may no longer be able to enjoy some books, movies, TV shows, games and apps.
