origin

One day in late May, Flywith24 suggested to me that there were about hundreds of partners in the group now. After half a year’s study of Jetpack MVVM, could we have a multi-team collaboration? You could design the project and then mobilize several partners to realize it together. To consolidate and deepen the impression of Jetpack MVVM.

After listening to this proposal, I immediately agreed with it, but I was actually a little hesitant, because I didn’t know what unique value this project could provide for my friends or the developers at large.

And during the period, there are also a lot of friends said to me privately, through the study of the column, they have iterated out of their own fast development framework. So it’s hard to mobilize multiple people at once.

But I didn’t let it go, and I spent the rest of the night wondering if there was any way we could step in and do something, and then just as I was going to sleep it all just clicked

Then we met with Flywith24, hit it off — yes, “this” is what we want to provide, and we also don’t want to cooperate with many people, the boat is small easy to turn around, we can take small steps to move first, until the results, and then gradually attract friends from all over the world in the group.

And so, after more than 300 frenzied updates —

Project introduction

Nice to meet you!

This project focuses on providing contrasting examples of Jetpack’s core components from Java to Kotlin,

In other words, through the carefully designed scenarios and lean code of this project, you can quickly get a sense of what is “written” in the Jetpack project and how Kotlin differs from Java writing,

After a brief look at the project’s source code, if you start to feel a little curious about “how to write it” and “why to write it this way” and want to explore further, then our wish has reached 😉
