  1. First open the virtual host software as shown, and then create a new virtual host;

  2. Enter a name according to the steps to facilitate management differentiation in the future;

  3. Choosing the first generation technology and not knowing why to install Linux is always a problem;

  4. Control the memory size not to exceed their own native size, according to the installed system to judge, the native 16G memory, here allocate 3G to Linux;

  5. The network can be disconnected and configured later;

  6. Create a virtual hard disk, here should pay attention not to choose C disk as far as possible, because the partition installed after the system is to take up space;

  7. In the virtual CD-ROM drive, you need to select the loading operation, as shown in the figure. You can also choose “Install OS later”, which explains how to install the system in an empty virtual machine.

  8. If you have already downloaded the image, you can choose the image to install. Generally, it is an ISO ending file.

  9. So now we have a virtual machine that needs to be saved. Here is a screenshot of the system to install in the future;

  10. From the operating system that one can judge is later installed or has selected the system image;

  11. When we go back to the list, we can see the virtual host we have built before, and the one we have just built is also in it;

  12. Right-click connection and open the host, we can enter the system installation interface. The following system installation is not much different from the physical machine, but here is how to install the system if you chose “install system later” before. Click Media – DVD Drive – Insert Disk – Select the system image you want to install (*.iso) – Click the black screen of the virtual machine – Enter. Then you can enter the system installation interface;

  13. After the system installation is complete, you can configure the network connection. In the Hyper-V Manager interface, select “Virtual Switch Manager”;

  14. Select to create an external virtual machine.

  15. Give the network a name, other options can be default;

  16. A pop-up prompt appears, select “Yes”;

  17. Go back to the Hyper-V Manager interface and set up the virtual system that needs to be networked.

  18. Select the virtual network switch created;

  19. Open the virtual machine installed in the system and open the network connection.
