HarmonyOS Connect brand upgrades in three dimensions contribute to partner business success
“Making a good product, selling a good product and operating a good product” is the new value HarmonyOS Connect brings to our partners, said Haisong Yang.
One is to build a product and join the HarmonyOS Connect ecosystem. Smart hardware from our partners will be able to leverage the capabilities of HarmonyOS for minimalist networking, universal cards, minimalist interaction, and hardware mutual assistance. Smart devices can be connected to the Internet at the touch of users’ mobile phones, and can be controlled at any time without the need to install an APP, effectively solving the problem of low utilization rate of smart features of devices, and realizing fast and low-cost connection to users.
HarmonyOS is a HarmonyOS platform that combines hardware and software capabilities of separate HarmonyOS devices into a hyperterminal based on customer requirements and scenarios. In a home scenario, for example, harmonyos-based air conditioners interact with smartwatches to form a hyperterminal that automatically adjusts temperature and wind speed based on your heart rate.
At the same time, the newly upgraded full-life cycle solutions and service platforms help partners develop quickly and at low cost, shortening the development cycle from 56 days to 7 days. The new HarmonyOS Connect Technology Certification platform enables partners to obtain a certified eco-product technology in as little as a week, speeding up time to launch.
Second, to sell good products, Huawei will open full-scene and multi-path sales channels through more than 60,000 offline retail and service outlets, online Huawei Mall (Vmall), Huawei official flagship store and other self-owned retail stores, as well as more than 15,000 three-party sales channels, giving comprehensive traffic support to partners and helping them sell good products. According to Yang, HarmonyOS Connect has achieved both sales and word-of-mouth success through Huawei’s distribution system. Take Midea steam oven as an example, it achieved the target of Vmall on the first day of mass testing, with a favorable rating of 100%.
Third, Huawei will activate partner products through high-frequency and on-demand device linkage and intelligent distribution of HarmonyOS ‘atomized service, and provide one-stop end-to-end ecosystem service platform to help partners operate efficiently. At the same time, Huawei will open its operation system and provide a data operation platform to visualize the effects of partners’ products and services and bring better user conversion efficiency.

The HarmonyOS Connect brand upgrade will be launched on 18 May and will be completed on 18 August. The HarmonyOS Connect brand upgrade is open to eligible hardware, solution and channel vendors to join the HarmonyOS Connect ecosystem. In addition, Huawei has built an online service platform for E2E cooperation business exclusively for partners. The platform provides one-stop services including registration, development/certification, and listing planning to help partners launch products efficiently and at a low cost.
