AceMovi Video Editor is a great Video Editor that helps simplify Video editing and shorten footage in a few simple steps. Next I’ll show you how to edit videos in AceMovi to make them shorter. Using the AceMovi Video Editor, you can effectively shorten videos and save time in post production.
How to use TunesKit AceMovi Video Editor for Mac
Step 1: Open AceMovi Video Editor on your computer and click File > New Project to start a New Project. A new project will then be created.
Step 2: Import the video by dragging it directly to the timeline or going to File > Import Media and selecting the video to shorten on the timeline.
Step 3. To shorten the video, you need to cut out the parts you don’t need, which can be done with the Split tool. Move the playback header to the position where you want to split. You can use the left and right buttons on the keyboard to move frame by frame for precise clipping.
Step 4. Right-click your video in the timeline and click Split. Your video will then be cut in two. If you want to delete unwanted parts, simply click on the material in the timeline and then press the Delete button on the keyboard to delete it. If you accidentally delete parts that you still want to keep, you can undo that step by pressing Ctrl+Z or go to Edit > Undo.
Step 5. After splitting is complete, you need to merge all the broken clips into one to make them continuous. Simply drag the clip on the timeline and match the end and beginning of each clip.
Step 6. Click Export in the menu at the top of the screen, and then click Export video. You can select the format of the video to export here, or you can click Settings to adjust the video and select the quality of the exported video, and then click OK. Click Export again and your video will be exported to the selected location.
