Here’s an interesting one — we only need a code writer. However, what we often say is that we lack an idea. In the past, I always felt that I lacked some ideas. Today, I found that this was not the case. We just lacked the means to record.
About seven months ago, WHILE I was hanging out on Github, I found a code base and clicked on the author’s Profile as usual. A REPO called Ideas was discovered, although it contained only a few simple ideas. But it allowed me to discover a new continent, and up until then I had been recording my ideas on OneNote (using Nokia Lumia 1020).
Sometimes it’s code, sometimes it’s a link to a blog, sometimes it’s just a paragraph. Idea often appeared while browsing websites, and OneNote on Mac OS had trouble syncing with Windows Phone.
Then I started using Github readme. md and Issues to manage my idea: Phodal/Ideas · Github.
Making the management Idea
Half a year has passed, 17 Issues have been closed in my Issues list, most of which are completed ideas. The Open list also includes 12 ideas that have not yet started or are only partially in progress. After a brief look, each Idea is about seven days apart, after all, it is impossible to meet.
For example, a recent issue I solved was a project technology stack trend chart. The Idea took only a day to come to fruition, or maybe it wasn’t really an Idea. This Idea relies on another Idea, the technology tree. There are many more examples, and this is similar to the evolution of technology, the Idea is evolving little by little.
Issue
Issues has always been an amazing thing that you can use as a blog and have comments below. Disqus could probably partner with Github so they would have a huge market, but of course it would only be a joke.
Issues is a great “tool” because Tags can be used to categorize your different ideas. And every time an idea is completed, the Issue can be closed. It’s like fixing a Bug.
For some content related to each Idea, we can add corresponding content in the form of Comments.
Display the README of Idea
A README is an introduction to a project, and it is a place where we can aggregate all our ideas. For example, I have a long list of ideas in the README.
For each project, there is a brief introduction, such as EchoesWorks:
Next Generation Tech Blog/Presentation Framework
Features:
- Support the Markdown
- Github code display
- Full screen background image
- Left/right picture support
- The progress bar
- Automatically play
- subtitles
- Split screen control
There are also long introductions and screenshots in some projects.
Come and try it anyway.
