In scenarios where Hikon cameras are heavily used, teams use fluorite cloud access to monitor video surveillance. In addition, some customers need to ensure that the cloud can access camera video streams from different sites for unified summary management without affecting the existing basic conditions of accessing fluorite cloud platform.
However, due to the limitations of Hikon cameras, one camera or one DVR can only be connected to one third-party platform at the same time, that is, only one of fluorite Cloud, 28181, and EHome platforms can be selected for access. Therefore, the requirement of the project is that all cameras should be connected to the cloud for unified management without affecting the platform of existing devices when the front end has occupied the access platform.
At this point, since the project is already taking up a platform, we need another way to get devices in. In view of this situation, we have designed two solutions, which are shared with you below.
Implementation method 1: Access through EasyNTS
The EasyNTS cloud Gateway is connected to the Intranet to solve network problems on the device and access the device in RTSP streaming mode. After the network problem is solved, EasyCVR is used to pull stream access video.
Implementation mode 2: Camera access
Since there is no unique way for the camera to be connected to the DVR, it is possible to access the cloud platform directly from the camera without affecting the use of fluorite cloud.
However, this method is difficult for the project that already has cameras and systems, and the existing camera equipment needs to be replaced. The advantage is that there is no need for forwarding or secondary transmission through many devices or processes.
