In the past, mobile disk devices, such as USB disk, mobile disk, etc., due to immature technology, if not correctly rolled out will cause data damage, therefore, when we do not safely delete the hardware, there will be a pop-up “not correctly rolled out prompt”, warning users to safely remove the hardware.
But as the technology matures, in fact, many mobile devices already have protection mechanisms that allow them to be pulled out on demand. If you need to use a mobile device a lot, the frequent pop-up prompts can be a bit tedious, but by using the mount Settings feature of Tuxera NTFS for Mac, you can easily turn off the prompt that the disk is not pushed out correctly.
First, open software preferences
Here we need to use Tuxera NTFS for Mac preference Settings, to mount the volume Settings.
As shown in Figure 2, click the Apple button of the system to open system preference Settings.
Then, as shown in Figure 3, in the System preferences panel, locate and open the “Microsoft NTFS by Tuxera” icon, which corresponds to the Preferences of Tuxera NTFS for Mac.
Always mount dirty volumes
After opening the preference setting function, as shown in Figure 4, click the small lock at the bottom first to unlock the preference setting function. During the unlocking process, you need to enter the user name and password of the system account to obtain the permission to change the account.
After unlocking the Settings, as shown in Figure 5, check the “Always mount dirty volumes” option to close the prompt that the disk is not pushed out correctly.
How do we understand that? First of all, “unclean volume” refers to “improperly pushed disks”. If the “always mount Unclean volume” option is not checked, Tuxera NTFS for Mac will mount these “improperly pushed disks”, and if the disk is removed and installed several times, there will be multiple warnings.
Check the option to turn off these warnings.
Third, summary
To sum up, Tuxera NTFS for Mac’s “mount Dirty Volumes” feature reduces the hassle of frequently removing and installing disks, and improves system efficiency.
Of course, you can uncheck Tuxera NTFS for Mac by default if you think this is necessary, for example if you are worried about unprotected disks.
