With the progress of technology and the public’s emphasis on education, more and more innovative ways of teaching have been brought into the classroom. In addition to the traditional way of teaching, teaching combined with information technology provides an effective way to change the traditional teaching mode, including the way of teaching on the same screen as the classroom desktop.
EasyScreenLive, a desktop screen-sharing software developed by us, can be directly used in classroom screen-sharing:
Simple, efficient and stable collection, coding, multicast, streaming and streaming media RTSP services in one of the same screen function components, with low delay, high efficiency, low packet loss and other characteristics. Currently supports Windows and Android platforms. With EasyScreenLive, we can avoid the slightly complicated process of audio and video source collection, encoding and streaming media push, as well as RTSP/RTP/RTCP/RTMP services. Only several APIS of EasyScreenLive are called, RTMP of streaming media audio and video data can be easily and stably pushed to EasyDSS server and RTSPServer service can be released. RTSP same-screen service supports multicast and unicast modes.
Wireless with the screen can achieve the function
1. The content of small screen can be directly input on the large screen through the wireless screen reader, that is, the video, audio and picture content on the smartphone or tablet can be directly output to the large screen TV or projector through the wireless way.
2. By operating the application software of smart phone or tablet computer, you can directly demand the content from the video website to the large-screen TV. It only needs WIFI signal, does not occupy the traffic of mobile phone, and does not generate any cost.
3. Simplify discovery and setup, allowing users to quickly transfer video between devices. You can browse smartphone photos on a big-screen TV, share your laptop screen in real time through a conference room projector, or watch live programming on your tablet from your home TV set-top box.
EasyScreenLive adopts the RTSP unicast or multicast mode. Especially in the case of multicast, it has high requirements on the router. In the case of interference, UDP multicast will produce data packet loss, which will cause some problems of screen splintering or lag.
Recently, when our team studied WebRTC technology, we found that if we apply the advantages of WebRTC technology to the traditional desktop same-screen field, wouldn’t it be a blow to dimension reduction? Therefore, we have made breakthroughs and improvements in this aspect, and will soon release WebRTC version of EasyScreenLive co-screen service.
Before this, webrTC-client developed by us has been tested for many times and has made a new leap on the existing video playing platform, while the new EasyScreenLive same-screen service combined with WEBRTC will be more superior in terms of video playing smoothness and delay.
