After installing ubuntu20.04, I found that there was no new blank file in the right-click menu, so it was not very convenient to create text files when working. So, based on this, we can add the new blank file to the right button in the following way!

#1 on Ubutnu, there is no option to create a text file when you right-click the desktop.

#2. Enter the template first

#3. Double-click the template. You’ll find it empty;

#4, then right-click open terminal and enter the following command

Sudo gedit TXT fileCopy the code

​

#5, Now you try again, right click not to appear new document!

​

#6, create a text with TXT file. Save and open again, the content is not garbled and not lost, OK! Problem solved.
