To meet the needs of different data stores, we may need to convert the file system to disk format. For example, FAT32 has good compatibility and is often used in file systems on USB drives, but is not suitable for large file storage above 4 GB, so it may need to be converted to exFAT, NTFS, etc.

1. Start the software

2. Use formatting
After the disk management window is opened, select the target disk and confirm the disk information in the information window. The disk used for this example is a USB drive that uses the MS-DOS (FAT32) file system.
Next, click on the “Format” option in the function panel on the right to access the TuxeraNTFS for MAC format conversion feature.

In this case, we will convert the original file system USB drive to the original MS-DOS (FAT32) file system USB drive. The exFAT filesystem is a flash-friendly filesystem that solves the problem that FAT32 does not support large files over 4 GB. As you can see, once “exFAT” is selected in the file system, you can click the format button to enter the formatter.
Before formal formatting, the software prompts you to delete all data. If correct, click Continue to complete the conversion of the usb drive.
