In late March, I prepared to read these two books.
Voice-over: Persistence is hard, but reading really helps.
Number one: Living the Meaning of Life
There is a popular question on Zhihu, “How do you survive the most difficult time in your life?”
A simple question has received thousands of responses, some with thousands of likes.
These answers, without exception, are stiff resistance.
Living The Meaning of Life is a book that helps us heal. The book was written by the famous Austrian psychologist Victor Frankel.
During World War II, his family, who were Jewish, were sent to concentration camps by the Nazis, where he and his sister were all murdered.
In the camp, everyone was just a bunch of numbers, like ants.
Frankel persevered in his search for meaning in life under extreme circumstances and observed the psychology of prisoners in concentration camps.
After liberation frankel chose to stay in Vienna in order to help victims of post-war mental breakdown live a normal life. In order to save these patients and himself, Frankel pioneered meaning therapy to help people go on living by finding the meaning of life.
Thinking about the millions of us who live under real stress,
It could be college students facing unemployment right out of school,
Or it could be a confused young man just starting out,
It could be a dad with a monthly car payment,
Probably a 35+ programmer. \
No matter what kind of person you are, this book will help you get out of the fog of your mind, find ways to relieve stress, and be positive about life’s difficulties.
Everyone has a unique calling, a calling that no one can replace. You must find it yourself.

Book 2: Meeting The Unknown Self
Most of the time, many of the problems and troubles we encounter are of our own creation. \
The world you see is the world you choose to see.
“These negative, repressed emotions, like your sadness and fear, get stuck in our bodies, locked in a cage.”
Darling, there is no one else out there. Everything that is outside is a projection of what is inside of you
There is nothing that can cause you mental pain. The pain comes from your interpretation of it.
There is something in these words that only when you see things in a positive way can things have positive effects.
This is the law of attraction in psychology.
Behind every negative emotion we have is a thought that supports it, because emotions are the body’s response to being stimulated by our thoughts.
None of the things that hurt us is true when we bring our minds under the magnifying glass.
We can break free from the bondage of thought and relieve pain in a single thought.
Life is short. Practice your heart. \
