I. Background introduction
At present, the monitoring system of many detention centers and prisons has many problems, such as long service time, aging equipment, image definition is not enough, and so on. Therefore, many detention centers and prisons need to upgrade and transform the monitoring system, mainly from two aspects:
1. Upgrade the hardware of the equipment, replace the aging monitoring and add some points;
2. Update the system software, integrate the limited resources of the monitoring system and personnel, so that they can form post linkage on the basis of effective police force, form effective joint force, and improve supervision efficiency.
Second, demand analysis
In the control of special places such as detention centers and prisons, the overall situation should be taken into account and no blind spots should be left. The main requirements include the following four points:
1. The main monitoring areas of detainees are: barn, corridor or stairwell of prison area, public activity area and perimeter;
2. Monitoring of foreign personnel, mainly in the following areas: interrogation room, lawyer’s interview room, family visit room;
3. Monitoring of staff, the main monitoring areas are concentrated in: entrance and exit (warehouse door, prison corridor door, prison door, interrogation room door, lawyer’s room door, family visit room door), patrol, attendance;

In view of the above requirements, we suggest to adopt EasyCVR video protocol fusion platform as the main system, EasyCVR in addition to supporting RTSP, Onvif, Hiksdk, DHsdk and other access methods, can also access GB28181 protocol, In this way, many originally constructed platforms can be connected to this platform through GB28181 protocol, which meets the requirements of compatibility with different protocols of old equipment and new equipment in this project.
