In March 2021, the Huawei Cup was officially announced and HarmonyOS, which was introduced for the first time, attracted the attention of many university students and faculty.
In order to better empower campus developers, the competition organizing committee plans to hold 8 technical lectures across the country to help HarmonyOS teachers and students master HarmonyOS technology and prepare for the competition quickly through the analysis and technical interpretation by Huawei experts. At the same time, in the offline technology lectures, I prepared a wealth of practical cases and on-site technical support for teachers and students, so that they can carry out quick practical operation on site.
At present, the offline technology lectures of the competition have been to Sichuan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Wuhan University and other four stops. All the lectures are full, attracting many campus developers to actively participate in and exchange development experience with lecturers.
At the site of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Mr. Wang Dong, secretary general of the organizing Committee, gave an overall introduction to the 2021 iot Design Competition and shared the development skills of previous competitions.
During the technical lecture, Zhang Xin, the architect of Huawei HarmonyOS, explained the philosophy and design of HarmonyOS in simple terms. He not only reminded the students of the ups and downs of the operating system, but also shared the experience of participating in the design and development of HarmonyOS with the students.
Hongqian Li, Senior Ecology Manager of Huawei HarmonyOS, explained the challenge to the students and faculty, introduced the rich examples HarmonyOS has to offer, demonstrated Codelabs, and encouraged students to join HarmonyOS Ecology to contribute their own development cases.
HUAWEI HarmonyOS senior engineer Wang Ao, together with the development kit partner, led the on-site teachers and students to complete an intelligent hardware development using HUAWEI DevEco Device Tool. He also promised that for the teachers and students who signed up for the HarmonyOS competition in the future, The organizing committee will provide development kits and technical support to help teachers and students produce innovative works in the competition.
At the end of the activity in Wuhan University Station of The National University Internet of Life Design Competition (Huawei Cup), the experts raffled prizes for the students who attended the event, and said that they would help outstanding campus developers in the competition to quickly complete the commercial closed loop.
