I suddenly found that an article I wrote three years ago in the blog garden has been read more than a million times. Yes, it is a technical article. This surprised me. When I started to write this article, I read only two or three thousand books a week. As time went by, with the help of search engines, it exceeded one million.
We may not have the concept of this reading volume, many technical people’s blogs, the site for many years before the number of visits can exceed one million, or ten million this level. I got millions of views in just one article, which is why Spring Boot has become so popular in the past two years.
This article was written by the Spring the Boot (a) : introduction “, is the first study the Spring when the Boot to write an article, address here: www.cnblogs.com/ityouknow/p… I am updating this article as the Spring Boot version is updated, and the series is also available on my separate website: www.ityouknow.com/
Later I did some research on why this article was so widely read. Then I searched “Spring Boot” on different search engines and found that this article was also ranked very high.
Baidu and Bing search for Spring Boot can rank second, the first is Spring Boot official website. Google’s Search for Spring Boot ranked sixth on the first page, and Sogou and 360’s search for Spring Boot also ranked first.
It seems that the power of search engines is really very powerful.
As this post hit a new high in views, one of my open source projects, Star, soared to the top of the Github charts. When I learned Spring Boot in the early years, I unified the sample projects I learned into an open source project. As time goes by, now the number of Star followers exceeds 15000+.
Project address: github.com/ityouknow/s…
A search on Github under the Spring-boot TAB shows that my open source project is just below the official website. In this process there are a lot of foreign friends also joined in, this kind of feeling is really quite good.
In 2017, a foreign friend asked me to translate the instructions into English. At that time, I added the README file in English. Meanwhile, I suggested that he should learn more Chinese.
Now I think it was worth it to write this article. It was read more than ever before, and it opened a window for external communication despite the doubts. The development history of this article, from blog to expert blog and individual blog, is like my personal growth history.
Writing and open source have opened another window in my life and given me a completely different world. I am grateful for my efforts in the past and all of you who have accompanied me along the way.
Today’s post records this moment, it is a milestone of my blog career, but certainly not the end, I believe that witnessing all the friends, will witness more meaningful moments in the future, I hope you will be my witness at that time!
