Git mailbox is inconsistent with remote mailbox, causing failure to push

Change the mailbox of the last commit

git commit –amend –author=”NewAuthor [email protected]”

NewAuthor: author [email protected]: new email address

When you’re done, set your local mailbox to a remote one.
